This magnificent mural by the American artist, N. C. Wyeth, father of Andrew Wyeth, was painted in 1932 for the Wilmington Savings Fund Society, Wilmington, Delaware. Symbolically, it ennobles the labor of man, and portrays the family as the foundation upon which civilization is built. This famous work of art, 60 feet long and 19 feet high, is on permanent exhibit at the bank's main office. Visitors are always welcome.
