ABOUT THE COLLECTIONS

The Helen Farr Sloan Library & Archives of the Delaware Art Museum houses over 38,000 volumes and 2,000 linear feet of archives. The manuscript collections focus on three major collecting areas-- the Pre-Raphaelites, Howard Pyle and his students, and John Sloan and "The Eight"-- each complementary to the strengths of the Museum's permanent art collection. These collections contribute to a unique research opportunity at the Delaware Art Museum.
